Academic Excellence
Inspired By Faith
Kindergarten is a wonderful place to learn. It is a time when children are naturally curious and excited about what they are learning. It is my goal to make lessons that are hands on and actively engaging. St. Patrick School and Parish has been a second family to me throughout my life. I attended school here many years ago. Folk Group was an important part of my teen and young adult years. Sharing my faith has always been important to me. Before pursuing teaching, I was involved in many different areas of Church ministry, youth ministry, music ministry, church camps, etc. In 1999, I became a teacher assistant. I have been teaching kindergarten at St. Patrick School since 2005. I graduated St. Joseph's College with a BA in Child Studies. I have NYS certifications in Childhood Education birth through sixth grade and in Students with Disabilities birth through sixth grade. I received my Masters in Science in Literacy from LIU at CW Post. I continue to learn and have attended workshops like "Handwriting without Tears." I look forward to an exciting year in kindergarten!
