The following Criteria will establish eligibility for Principal's Honors, Honor Roll or Exemplary Effort in Grades 6,7,8
Honors for Middle School Students:
Principal Honors: This honor is earned by a student who receives an average of 96-100 % in the 6 major subject areas and have a minimum of a 90 in each special area subject. This honor requires that students receive an “E” in effort and conduct in each major subject areas, an "E" in all personal growth areas, and an “E” or “S” in each special area.
Honor Roll: This honor is earned by a student who receives an average of 90-95% in the 6 major subject areas and have a minimum of a 85 in each special area subject. This honor requires that students receive an “E” or “S” in effort and conduct in each subject area, an "E" or "S" in personal growth, and "E" or "S" in effort and conduct in each special area subjects.
National Junior Honors Society:
To be considered for NJHS, a student must receive a minimum of an average of 90% in the 6 major subject areas (Math, Religion, ELA, Science , Spanish, and Social Studies) and have a minimum of a 85 in each special area subject.
To be considered to NJHS a student must receive a “E” in conduct and effort for all subject areas, an "E" in all personal growth area, and an "E" or "S" in each special area.
