We now have a JUNIOR troop at SPS.

We are looking for a few special adults who are willing to lead troops - please consider giving your time and energy to this worthwhile endeavor.

URGENT: Brownies (3rd grade) are looking for a leader.Would you lead a troop of fun, cheerful girl scouts?

As a leader, you will...
  • Guarantee placement of your daughter in a troop

  • Get to know your daughter's friends and observe her as she interacts with others
  • Choose the troop's meeting day, time and place and help shape the troop's activities

* Every 3rd Thursday of the month, Service Unit 25 members and leaders meet at Smithtown Elementary school cafeteria to "do business" (i.e. meet the treasurer, the registrar, our field counselor, ... collect bank statements, forms, prizes, etc.) and stay informed of new events to take place in our SU and/or in Suffolk county.Don't miss out! Come by, exchange ideas, have dessert, socialize.We open each meeting with a flag ceremony (*);children are welcome (we have a craft table set up for them); there's a raffle every month.If you cannot attend, send a co-leader or a parent to represent your troop.
